SEARCH Welcomes New Members from Missouri, Arkansas

New title

SEARCH is pleased to announce the appointment of two new state representatives to the SEARCH Membership Group, effective March 1, 2023:

Major Jolly was appointed by Missouri Governor Michael L. Parson.  As Commander of the Technical Services Bureau, Major Jolly has oversight responsibility for the Criminal Justice Information Services Division, Communications Division, and Patrol Records Division. He replaces longtime SEARCH Missouri Member, Major David Flannigan, who was promoted in late 2022 to serve as Assistant Superintendent of MSHP.

Mr. Long was appointed by Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. The ACIC is responsible for providing information technology services to law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies in Arkansas. He replaces longtime SEARCH Arkansas Member Mr. Brad Cazort, who retired.

SEARCH Members and staff are pleased to welcome Major Jolly and Mr. Long to the Membership Group.

The SEARCH Membership Group, the governing body of SEARCH, is comprised of one gubernatorial appointee from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the territories, as well as eight at-large appointees selected by SEARCH’s Chair. This national body of state-level professionals is widely representative of the various disciplines within the justice system, and many are responsible for operational decisions and policymaking concerning the management of criminal justice.
