Ms. Mannone Butler, the District of Columbia’s representative to the SEARCH Membership Group, has moved onto the SEARCH Board of Directors, effective June 1, 2021. She fills a vacancy left by former Tennessee Member, Mr. Bradley Truitt, who recently retired from state service.
Ms. Butler will serve the remainder of Mr. Truitt’s two-year Board term, which expires in July 2022.
Ms. Butler is Executive Director of the District of Columbia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, and has been a SEARCH Member since her appointment by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser in January 2019. The CJCC is an independent agency that is dedicated to continually improving the administration of criminal justice in the District.
The 15-member SEARCH Board of Directors, selected by the full Membership Group, provides general oversight and translates corporate goals and objectives into program directives and operating policies.
