Mr. Dane Silcox, who serves as Connecticut’s governor-appointed representative to the SEARCH Membership Group, has moved onto the SEARCH Board of Directors, effective November 6, 2023.
He fills a vacancy left by former SEARCH Kansas Member, Ms. Leslie Moore. Ms. Moore had served on the SEARCH Membership since 2012, including two terms as Chair of the SEARCH Board and one term as Immediate Past Chair. She stepped down from the Membership and Board last week after leaving state service.
Mr. Silcox will serve the remainder of Ms. Moore’s two-year Board term, which expires in July 2024. He is Manager of the Bureau of Identification, Records and Crime Analysis in the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection. He has been a SEARCH Member since his appointment by Governor Ned Lamont in January 2020.
The 15-member SEARCH Board of Directors, selected by the full Membership Group, provides general oversight and translates corporate goals and objectives into program directives and operating policies.
