New title

SEARCH is pleased to welcome Ms. Casey K. Lamonski, who joined SEARCH staff on May 1 as our new Event Planner/Social Media Coordinator.

Casey will provide communication, meeting organization, and coordination support for the SEARCH Membership Group, Board of Directors and Staff on all aspects of event planning, including cost containment, venue scouting, sponsor and vendor relationship building, and event strategy success. She will plan and execute event logistics, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, and marketing materials.

Casey’s extensive event-planning skills are being used to ensure the success of SEARCH’s next large events, the Annual Membership Group Meeting (July 23–24) and the 2023 SEARCH/JRSA/NCJA Symposium on Justice Information Technology, Research, Policy, and Practice (July 24–26), which are taking place at The Westin Long Beach in Long Beach, CA. She will also support other SEARCH events and manage the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content for SEARCH’s digital platforms, build a unified brand presence, and support corporate marketing efforts.

“We are so excited that Casey has joined SEARCH,” noted SEARCH Executive Director Dave Roberts. “Casey’s vast experience in event planning, marketing, and membership support will greatly enhance our Membership Group meetings, symposiums, training programs, and community outreach!”

Casey has more than two decades of experience in events and promotions, strategic marketing, advertising and branding, corporate communications, and public and media relations. Prior positions include Director of Member Services and Communications at a nonprofit trade association, Chief Marketing Innovator at an advertising agency, as Program Director for a state university entrepreneurship education center, and Marketing and Events Director at land development and publishing companies in the Fresno, California, area. She was also responsible for member recruitment, retention, and education at a trade association with 800-plus members across the western United States, and is experienced in developing and running promotional, sponsorship, and community relations events.

Casey received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with marketing emphasis from California State University-Fresno.
