The 2019 SEARCH Symposium on Justice Information Technology, Policy and Research went off without a hitch last month in Washington, DC—and speaker presentations, photos and news clips from the events are now available to download or view.
More than 200 justice professionals from all over the country attended the two-day Symposium, held July 23–24, 2019, at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport.
In addition to keynote addresses by national technology, privacy and research experts, participants attended a series of workshop panels in three tracks—Technology, Privacy, Research—where topics ranging from facial recognition to justice reform to the research value of criminal history records were addressed by top experts from federal, state and local justice agencies, national organizations, thought leaders, and companies such as Code for America, Arnold Ventures, and the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative.
SEARCH would also like to thank its Symposium Sponsors and Exhibitors: Gold Sponsors IDEMIA and Gemalto; Silver Sponsors NEC Corporation of America and Mainstream Technologies; and Exhibitors Digital Boundary Group, i3, and Optimum Technology.
