Who can attend?
The target audience is public safety personnel who have been or may be assigned as project managers for public safety projects. There are currently no prerequisites identified for trainees taking this course. The target audience should have the following:- A minimum of 2 years of experience in public safety,
- Some accountability for public safety projects within their organizations, and
- Knowledge of past, current, or future projects they can share with the class.
SEARCH developed the course material to delve into the basics of project management and provide step-by-step instructions for utilizing critical project management tools.
This course focuses specifically on the duties and responsibilities of a public safety communications project manager/coordinator.
