SEARCH Members elected four new Members to the Board of Directors during their Annual Membership Group Meeting, held July 18-20 in Portland, Oregon. Elected to new two-year terms on the Board were three State and one At-Large Member:
 Mr. Jeffrey Kellett Chief Administrator, Criminal Records Unit, New Hampshire State Police

 Capt. Philip K. O'Neill Chief, Records and Technology Division, Nevada Department of Public Safety

 Mr. David Steingraber Executive Director, Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance

 Ms. Janet L. Mullings Ph.D. Associate Dean and Associate Professor, College of Criminal Justice, Sam Houston State University (At Large)

In addition, the Membership re-elected three Board members to another two-year term:
 Mr. Theron Schnure Assistant Division Director, Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division, Connecticut Office of Policy and Management

 Dr. Hugh M. Collins Judicial Administrator, Supreme Court of Louisiana (At Large)

 Mr. Robert Wessels Court Manager, Office of Court Management, Harris County, Texas (At Large)

Continuing to serve on the Board are: Mr. Brad Bates (Kentucky); Dr. Al Blumstein (At-Large); Mr. Dan Foro (New York); Mr. Mike Lesko (Texas); Ms. Liane Moriyama (Hawaii); Mr. Brad Truitt (Tennessee); Chairman Mr. Francis X. Aumand (Vermont), and Vice Chairman Capt. Tom Turner (Virginia).
SEARCH is governed by a Membership Group comprised of one gubernatorial appointee from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as eight at-large appointees selected by SEARCH's Chair. Members are primarily state-level justice officials responsible for operational decisions and policymaking concerning the management of criminal justice information, particularly criminal history information. The 15-Member Board of Directors provide general oversight and translate corporate goals and objectives into program directives and operating policies.
