During an evening reception at its 2007 Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, the SEARCH Membership took time to honor the recipients of its annual awards:
- Mr. Roy G. Weise, Senior Criminal Justice Information Services Advisor, Federal Bureau of Investigation, who received the 2007 O.J. Hawkins Award for Innovative Leadership and Outstanding Contributions in Criminal Justice Information Systems, Policy and Statistics.
- Mr. Paul Heppner, Deputy Director, Georgia Crime Information Center, who received the 2007 Gary R. Cooper Award for Meritorious Service.
