These conferences were specifically designed to educate COPS Technology 2005 grantees on successful information technology (IT) planning, acquisition, implementation and management to support the agency's community policing goals.

This conference will be held on two different dates and in two locations:

October 18 - 20, 2005
Hyatt Charlotte
Charlotte, North Carolina

November 29 - December 1, 2005
The Westin Horton Plaza
San Diego, California

The three-day conference is free of charge and, as an additional incentive, COPS will reimburse authorized travel expenses to attend the conference (airfare, hotel and per diem) for two people, not to exceed a total of $1,000 per agency.
