Washington, DC

Washington, DC is the heart of the American Experience. It is not only our nation's capital, with its well-known monuments and inspiring memorials, but an exciting city filled with much to do and see. • For an evening of fun and laughter, see The Capitol Steps, a musical satire troupe of Congressional staffers-turned-comedians. Performances are Friday and Saturday nights in the Ronald Reagan Building Amphitheater. Call 703-683-8330 or visit www.capsteps.com for tickets.

  • A special exhibit, Whistler Rarities: Etchings from the Artist, is on display at the Smithsonian Institution Freer Gallery of Art from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily until April 1.
