Warneke to Serve as Staff Liaison to SEARCH Membership Group

SEARCH is pleased to announce that Ms. Shawna Warneke, who rejoined SEARCH in October 2009 as an Administrative Assistant to the Systems and Technology Program, recently began providing administrative support to the Office of the Executive Director.

In this role, she will be responsible for Membership Group and Board of Directors liaison communications and activities, conducting special projects, compiling reports on congressional liaison activities, and processing gubernatorial appointments to the Membership Group.

Ms. Warneke will continue splitting her time between her roles as Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director's Office and the Systems and Technology Program.

"I am excited to have Shawna directly involved in supporting SEARCH's Members," said SEARCH Executive Director Ron Hawley. "Her years of experience with SEARCH and commitment to excellence will be a true asset to the moving forward. I am confident they will quickly see her as their 'go to' person for SEARCH information and activities."

Ms. Warneke previously worked for SEARCH from 2006-08, supporting the Public Safety Programs team, and spent a year after that working at Vanir Construction Management in Sacramento, California, before returning to SEARCH six months ago.

Ms. Warneke holds a bachelor's degree in history from California State University, Sacramento.
