On March 16, SEARCH released the newest podcast in our Justice Information Sharing - National Initiatives, Programs, Projects and Technologies series. It addresses the timely topic of Maintaining Project Momentum During Budget Reductions, and is available at http://www.search.org/programs/info/podcasts/.
"This latest podcast in our series directly addresses an issue that most, if not all, justice executives around the country are facing: how to maintain programs and initiatives through tough fiscal circumstances," said Scott Came, Director of Systems and Technology for SEARCH.
"We were able to bring together three leaders from somewhat different environments to talk about techniques and strategies for maintaining momentum. They also share their thoughts on the Federal stimulus package and the resources it makes available to state, local, and tribal practitioners."
Participating in the podcast are:
Gary K. Cooper, Director of Criminal Justice Information Services, California Department of Justice
Linda Rosenberg, Director of the Office of Criminal Justice System Improvements, Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency
David Steingraber, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance
SEARCH's Justice Information Sharing Podcast series features discussions and interviews among practitioners, industry experts, and government leaders regarding a variety of justice and public safety issues.
