There's still time to sign up for the upcoming Core Skills for the Investigation of Cellular Devices course in Reno, Nevada, July 14-17, 2009.

SEARCH, through its High-Tech Crime Training Services Program, in partnership with the Regional Public Safety Training Center (RPSTC) in Reno, will be conducting its Core Skills for the Investigation of Cellular Devices course soon at the Regional Public Safety Training Center.

This four-day course teaches investigators how to approach the investigation of cellular devices and how these devices are different than traditional computer-based investigations. Instruction covers the basics of cellular networks and how cellular devices function in those networks, as well as the current hardware and software needed to extract evidence from cellular devices.
