Financial Fraud Investigators Attend SEARCH High-Tech Crime Presentation

Forty-two attendees from the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI) attended a March 27 presentation at SEARCH that included search techniques using Google, the Mozilla FireFox Web Browser, and SEARCH Investigative Toolbar to optimize investigations. Computer Training Specialist Keith Daniels presented the half-day session.

"This presentation is always well received by investigators," said Mr. Daniels. "Attendees often comment that they couldn't have dreamed of the results they can get using Google and the other techniques we present."

SEARCH frequently presents this crucial information at national and international conferences, and the information is included in many of the SEARCH training courses.

IAFCI, a nonprofit international organization, provides services and an environment within which information about financial fraud, fraud investigation and fraud prevention methods can be collected, exchanged and taught for the common good of the financial payment industry and our global society.
