Ms. Leticia Davidek is SEARCH's new Staff Accountant, having joined our organization on June 16, 2008. She manages bank and general ledger reconciliations; performs month-end closings; tracks fixed assets and prepares depreciation schedules; prepares trial balance and expenditure reports on grants and contracts; and prepares financial statements.

"Please join me in welcoming Leticia to the Finance team and SEARCH. Her 14 years experience in accounting, including 5 1/2 years as General Ledger Accountant with Turning Point Community Programs, will provide a smooth transition into SEARCH," said Rose Marie Florita, Director of Finance and Administration. Turning Point is a nonprofit mental health organization that serves Sacramento, Stanislaus, Merced, Yolo, Placer and Nevada Counties.

Prior to joining SEARCH, Ms. Davidek was Senior Accounting Specialist with Aleut Global Solutions, a Facilities Management Contract with the California Administrative Office of the Courts. She reviewed financial statements and various financial reports, prepared and audited client invoice, developed operational policies and procedures and monitored contracts, among other duties.

She has also performed all aspects and phases of general accounting, bookkeeping and office management for a variety of service and manufacturing organizations.
