Longtime SEARCH Staff Promoted

Ms. Cheryl Z. Moore is SEARCH's new Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, a position she assumed in March 2007.

Given her SEARCH career experiences and historical knowledge, she is well positioned to elevate this position to new heights as she applies her unique qualifications," said Mr. Ronald P. Hawley, Executive Director of SEARCH.

Among her other duties, Ms. Moore will act as a liaison to the SEARCH Membership Group and provide staff support at Membership Group and Board of Directors meetings.

Ms. Moore joined SEARCH in 1980 as an Administrative Assistant. From 1984 to 1990 she was Research and Training Assistant for SEARCH, processing all Automated Index requests and assisting with the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training-certified courses that were conducted by SEARCH Training Services staff. From 1990 to 2007, she was a Research Analyst for SEARCH's National Clearinghouse for Criminal Justice Information Systems. Under supervision of the Director of Justice Information Technology (IT) Services, her primary responsibilities include maintaining the Justice Technology Resource Center (JTRC) and the Justice IT News Desk and Events Calendar databases, as well as providing general support services for the National Clearinghouse.

Ms. Moore received an associate's degree in Business from Sacramento City College, California.
