SEARCH Welcomes New Human Resources GeneralistBack
SEARCH is pleased to announce that Ms. Regina Kyaw has joined the organization as Human Resources Generalist. Ms. Kyaw administers all human resources functions, with primary responsibility for recruitment, new hire and termination processes, staff recognition, and the performance evaluation process. She manages and administers worker's compensation and unemployment and disability insurances, and oversees the employee benefits programs.
Prior to joining SEARCH in December 2006, Ms. Kyaw was Marketing Editor for Wood Rodgers, Inc., in Sacramento, California, where she wrote, developed, and implemented style guide policies to establish procedures and created company templates for all standard documents. Her previous position with the company was as Human Resources Generalist, where she administered companywide personnel policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with federal and state legal requirements. She managed all employee benefit inquiries and annual performance appraisals, and processed all wage increases and status changes.
For five years, Ms. Kyaw also served as Human Resources Coordinator for the Sacramento law firm Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard. In this position, she fulfilled a wide range of human resources responsibilities and also supervised a staff of 25 legal secretaries as Interim Human Resources Manager.

Ms. Kyaw is a member of the Sacramento Area Human Resources Association (SAHRA) and its Professional Development Committee, and was voted SAHRA's Volunteer of the Month in August/September 2006. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology, Organizational Studies-Human Resources/Administration from the University of California, Davis.
