On March 28, 2005, Ms. Georgene M. Ramming was appointed Chief of the Criminal Justice Support Division of the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). In this position, Ms. Ramming is responsible for oversight of the State's Crime Laboratory, Records and Identification Bureau, which includes the Sex Offender Program, Licensing and Regulatory Bureau, Telecommunications, Information Technology and Operational Communications.

Ms. Ramming has been employed by the Arizona DPS for 25 years and has held various operational and management positions in the Records and Identification Bureau, Licensing and Regulatory Bureau, and Information Technology Bureau throughout her career.

Ms. Ramming has been the Control Terminal Officer (CTO) for the State of Arizona since 1998 and is currently serving a third term as the chairperson of the FBI CJIS Western Regional Working Group. Ms. Ramming has also been the NLETS-The International Justice and Public Safety Information Sharing Network representative for the State of Arizona since 1999, and is currently serving as the Vice Chair of her Region. Ms. Ramming has been the SEARCH representative for the State of Arizona since 1998 and is currently serving as Vice Chair of the Law and Policy PAC.
