Jose Ramirez

Jose A. Ramirez was recently promoted to Inspector within the Department of Public Safety, New Mexico State Police, and assumes a new position as Assistant Director of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy (NMLEA). In this position, he oversees all State Police training and recruiting. The NMLEA is responsible for administering statewide basic and advanced law enforcement training.

Insp. Ramirez has been a governor-appointed SEARCH Member since January 2003 and is a member of the Law and Policy Program Advisory Committee.
